I always want to be upfront about costs and give everyone an idea of what to expect. There are no “hourly” rates or hidden fees. Each day is $300 and a typical “full band” arrangement usually takes around a day to mix, thus the $300 per song mix rate. If you want to do a complete project here (as opposed to just booking random days), it’s best to contact me so we can discuss a “project” rate. A good example would be that I typically will not charge you the full $300 per song mix rate if the whole project is just acoustic guitar and vocals.

Fine print for deposits: Scheduling is everything for me out here! I can usually squeeze someone in for a day or two last minute, but anything more than that needs advance planning. At least 75% of clients out here are quoted at a “project” rate. When we agree on a rate and dates, a 20% deposit of that project rate is required at that time. If you need to reschedule for any reason, I need at least a 2 week notice. Any sooner than that and the deposit is lost.
